The current Google search link does very little to disassociate the forum from the Bitcoin project. There's no need to have a forum link anyway, as there's already a link to the wiki, which links to the forum, and can be edited to link to other unofficial forums as well. I just came across a thread by someone offering to sell a bitcoin mining virus: I know there'd been complaints about illegal activity, but this is a whole new level of bad PR compared to people just offering to sell drugs. Especially when there are responses like: "Excuse me while I put this on every computer at my school." "This would be so awesome if I could install it at every computer in my college lab. So many bitcoins for me." It doesn't just look like some one-off cybercriminal spam, it looks like forum members in general support this kind of thing. --------------enig5551E094198178BC2938801A Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJOJbnpAAoJEBgPDxtXUJkipdAP/3hb069SwrqcirU0BlRz9Bp7 cy7/cK/lyc+3HW7pFUaaFq2H+/MbkNYfBIbNQXY2HehdxbX2if0OuB3e0JNT08np 3Ou3afYJA+rahXtDs9UqDv0fejoRhL9uX3T4Sgc9yTYeK67f760xNeNVuUCfGhwz 75Vg9O8kMl8FVoEcHbyrM96cAXjVHa4YaiBAR5eava+xuonYpvwEthuNduPPB8PE pGIUUGuKl+wDIo91ev/Libtzb8y6qg9+RQaCgJl6Ramy2pDdhnAGuzyFk6HZ6aoe Xqzh9uYz+loMk/7w2v336UJ0c64vhatxf71UM/pnbrP6zvcj/X1kXfA1ogQlAMpj 3GXtJzxUqYUGbiCFcZBgr8Zg356lw51/gLA8vCJxjw+mEW37t6JEyPwt10pFilUa N709lXyuJLtZuOHuAfAKzQM9HwUeZIEiB0svZyJVg2IMFQ6iWklw2wpTHZ7aYAAo aO6sUU88EhJ+JMFTpioljKuB4aNqgoIfzfgMvF4f3/A7wSamCOS3nxJDO/fMUSSX e/HIQmgEgEb3a6fdaYCUyD4omN/emHB1IJP66BRtcA5ptWUGhVh1bZ9KJS6MoYPE w+cmPj9P+WUJoeDv1a0dtmPZY131lgG21RsG6TMxRzMRmpxwTyT/TiAMjhpn3vzc Uj9UgY2299W1yFGcjeKJ =Mzot -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig5551E094198178BC2938801A--
